I have posted these in the antiques and binocular sections, previously. So, since these are really binocular telescopes, I am going to try this auction.
I have for sale a very good condition Zeiss 80mm objective Binocular Telescope (Assembi) - The instrument features separate focusing 20-40 x oculars with detachable yellow filters. Excellent Zeiss Wooden Box (someone painted a silver color over a square-shaped spot in the front), otherwise very nice. Insruments of this type were once used by the East German (DDR) Border Guards during the Cold War to look over at us. The silver "splotch" on the case could be touched-up, in my opinion. This instrument includes a very nice Zeiss 2VS tripod, as normally found with the Telementor I/II.
