This is a spare of mine, so I'll share this one, which is in very excellent condition and way better-looking than my other.
This is an UltraFire mini red LED flashlight. Build is excellent and heavy duty; definitely up for the task of being droped, crushed, run over....It will easily survive your many nights in the field with your telescope(s).
Only 3.62-inches long, it will fit perfectly in a shirt pocket or in clipped onto the side of your jeans. That metal clip is rigidly flexible and will NOT fall off your side once mounted as it squeezes tightly. Made of milled aluminum and looking A LOT like a Maglite that shrank in the wash, it feels dense like an old brass plossl from the early '80s; weighing in at 2.9 ounces.
Oh, the front bulb housing is glass, not plastic. Like I said; made to take a beating!
To turn on, just push the supple, orange button. Click on, click off. That's it.
As the photo shows, this will be a bright red, but not so bright you lose night vision. It is intense enough to help find missing screws in the grass or to more easily read black characters on your star atlas.
Really a neato light! Wish these were around when I had my homemade 6-inch reflector back in high school.
All nations welcome to bid.
