Haven't seen one of these in an age...And I am sure someone out there could use it.
This is a 2002-2009 years Bogen Mounting Plate Flush Mount. This is the aluminum hexagon plate that slips into the f/3038, 3039, 3047, and 3055 Bogen heads. For the Bogen geeks out there (me included), the MPFM falls under mpn 3041.
It is called a "Flush Mount" because the underside is smooth and devoid standard Adapter Plate's rib-structured underside. Hence, it is completely smooth and is used for "flush" fitment to the head.
This unit here would be a 2nd gen because plate is a more brilliant aluminum color and has hard rubber pads to assist the camera/binocular mount/spotting scope/camera for a firm purchase. If this were a 1st gen model, the aluminum body would be smoky gray in color and with a unitary cork pad top. If this were a 3rd gen model, the color would be the same as in this one, but the purchase pad would be a thinner gauge of rubber and unitary in appearance.
In all the years these 6-sided adapter plates have been around, their dimensions have not changed.
All the holes you see on the plate are original-to-code. The ONLY thing missing here is the #1/4-20 screw-and-locking nut (known as R030,05 and/or the #3/8 screw-and-locking nut assembly (known as R030,06 and made of brass). No, these units never incorporated the more widely-known D-Ring Screw.
I say "and/or" because you could order your MPFM to have either these fasteners since the central bore will accommodate either size.
Physical condition is perfect and its shape is true with no dents, flat spots, cracks, or chips to the metal form. The rubber purchase pads are in perfect condition and are not peeling, cracking, or worn flat in spots. Each hole is original and unmodified and the hole with female threads is perfect.
Cosmetics are excellent.
All nations welcome to bid.
