NO RESERVE
Just what the tile says - my Tak NJP T2 mount head only is being put up for your bidding pleasure and with no reserve.  Selling because I really could use the money.  This is a superb heavy duty mount.  Smooooooooooth tracking.  Able to easily carry 70lbs and if you tweak it just right it'll carry even more without breaking a sweat - some folks have reported in excess of 100lbs.

Serial number is 05052.  Its age shows though, as you can see in the pictures - paint is flaking off in some areas.  The included polar scope was good until 2015 BUT you can use one of the smartphone apps to still use this scope and get it polar aigned within 2 arcmin of the NCP.  I've had it mounted on a concrete pier in my backyard observatory for years and have thoroughly enjoyed it.  See attached narrowband images that I have taken with this mount and various scopes over the years. I've taken up to 60min guided subs at medium focal lengths (<1000mm) with nice round stars.
I used a XP laptop running Cartes du Ciel and Chuck Faranda's ASCOM Temma module to go-to objects and PhD for guiding.

I HIGHLY PREFER PICKUP - this mount is a beast and weighs a lot.  I
can ship but the buyer will need to pay insured shipping, which likely won't be cheap.

I have some accessories for the scope (bubble level, polar scope illuminator sans batteries, two hole adapter for Tak clamshells, Robin Casady losmandy mounting solution, Tak counterweight shaft, four counterweights in variying degrees of cosmetic distress, hand controller, PC cable and USB to serial adapter and an old cosmetically challenged Meade suitacse in which the mount head and accessories can fit) which will be offered to the winning bidder for reasonable costs.

No, I don't have a tripod or pier for the mount head.  The winning bidder will need to figure out a mounting solution of their own.

I'll accept paypal only if one of the no fee to me options such as F&F is used, otherwise MO, cashier's check, cash or even a personal check from highly rated astromarters would be fine.  Questions?  Ask and if I am able, I will answer.  Thank you for looking and bidding on this fine mount.
