This hard-sided case is in outstanding condition. It has been used to store an 8" SCT-type scope with an outside tube diameter of 10".
With the foam removed, its interior size is 38 ½” long by 15 ¼” wide. The included foam fits an SCT-type telescope OTA with an outside tube diameter of 10 “ The case has 2 handles, 2 latches, and small hard rubber wheels.
Farpoint Astro is the primary vendor for JMI cases, and I haven’t been able to find this exact case on their site. However, I’d estimate that an equivalent new case would be on the order of $400 - $500.
I do not have shipping boxes for the case. However, you may (a) pick it up in the North Atlanta area (b) pay for packing and shipping to your address or (c) meet me at a mutually convenient location. I'm willing to drive 100 miles (each way) from zip code 30004 to deliver the case.
