An early 2000’s, lightly used Losmandy G8 equatorial mount and Losmandy lightweight tripod. This is a solid, well-made little mount!
EQ mount includes:
- Weight shaft / 11lb. weight
- Digital Drive System / all cables
- Polar alignment scope / red diode
- Hand controller
- 2 D-style dovetail clamps (one has a homemade insert to hold a V-style plate)
- Upgraded RA/DEC hand knobs and pier adapter fasteners
- Scopeguard custom case*
*Scopeguard case has some punctures on the underside (see magnified photo) and has yellowed sitting in my basement (mount was kept in the house); my attempt at cleaning made it so…now there’s both yellowing and occasional white streaks! Case is functional, but wanted to make clear its not pretty.
Tripod has upgraded knobs, and includes the pier adapter.
