Up for sale is a Paramount MYT with the standard equipment, Berlebach Planet with the double leg clamps, 3 extra 10# counterweights (it includes 1-20# standard) and the SB mounting plate to attach the MYT to the Planet. The MYT was purchased on 07/04/17 from Woodland Hills Telescope. Everything else around then or shortly thereafter. I am the original owner of everything.

Reason for selling is I moved up to an OTA that is close to the 50# weight rating of the mount and I don’t like pushing anything to the max.

The most weight I carried on the mount was around 35#. Reason for so many weights is I did not like the look of a single 20# and single 10# weight so I purchased 2 more 10# to have 3 equal size weights (That is just me I guess). So you will have enough CW’s to allow you to carry up to the max weight rating.

From day one, it has been babied. I take really good care of my equipment. I installed nylon washers and made pieces out of Kydex to put between the mount, adapter plate and MYT base to avoid scratches. I even adjusted the slew speed and the torque settings in the TheSKY to a modest rate just to set things as easy on the mount as possible. It has been a very excellent, flawlessly performing mount and I would have kept it if I was not moving into a higher payload.

Mount has around 12-15 outings in my front yard.

The hand controller has never been used since I always controlled the mount from my PC.

The Planet is a perfect match for the MYT. It has the EQ6 head on it, so I had to drill 3-3/8 holes and tap them to accept the SB adapter. I have a drill press so it was done properly.

One more thing. I had the 48v adapter in a homemade power box so I cut the cord on the adapter that plugs into the mount to use a panel mounted Anderson power pole connector on the power box to plug it into for convenience. Each end of the cord has a Powerpole connector that just connects together. You can see it in the accessory pic.

Total price I paid was $7,474 ($6,000 MYT, $850 Planet, $175 for each 10# weight and $99 for the SB adapter). I also have the Berlebach soft bag that I purchased with the Planet that is somewhere in the house that I have not found yet. It was $50 or so. I will find it before I sell it.

I will take $5,700. You cover the shipping and the software transfer fee. All will ship in the original boxes. Or come on down to the Florida Keys and pick ‘er up.

Thanks for looking. Any Q’s. let me know.
