Previously posted in EP section I'm trying again here.
I had many inquiries but no firm buyer. This is hard
for me to understand since it's not only dynamic in
every way, but it's a highly collectible Zeiss (West
Germany) EP that can only increase in value. Selling
only to pay for new AP 1600GTO mount.
A 100mm Zeiss EP with 80 degree field of view in near
mint condition all around. All glass and coatings are
flawless as is the giant aluminum housing. It's actually
made for a 4" focuser, but comes with 2" adapter for use
in standard diagonals too. Either way, it produces a
huge FOV in any long focus instrument that doesn't have
a large central obstruction. Most long focus instruments
don't have large c/o anyway, and refractors, of course,
have no central obstruction at all making them the perfect
match.
Please note that the side view photo has a thumb print
on it that (could) be mistaken for a small dent. I assure you, it's only a finger print and the condition of the entire EP is for all practical purposes, flawless.
So if you've got a high power instrument that you would
like to use for wider field purposes, this is an ideal
high-end solution. This EP is a spectacular sight, both
cosmetically and functionally. Asking $2,000 obo with
matching case.
Many thanks for consideration!
