So I have decided to sell the C9.25 that I have enjoyed for many years. This specimen has excellent optics and is excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition with no appreciable dents dings scratches etc. on the tube. The front cover has some paint loss for some reason on the edges, and outside of the front cell have some minor handling marks as does the dovetail. It's not in new / mint condition but shows no signs of carelessness or abuse.

Comes with Losmandy dovetail, 2" visual back, flexible dew shield, Bob's Knobs, and has been flocked with protostar flocking paper. It is pitch dark inside and this results in much better contrast due to control of light scatter.

I am regretfully selling because I have obtained a very good example of a C11 - though this C11 is not quite optically as goo d as the C9.25...

The optics of this C9.25 are a bit better than the C11 in terms of sharpness and it has almost zero mirror shift / flop - however the C11 does see a bit deeper on deep sky. The C9.25 is noticeably better on planets, however I have 5" and 6" APO refractors for that usage... Since I've acquired the C11 I just don't find myself using the C9.25. very much anymore and it deserves a good home.

The C9.25 corrector does have some dew minor spotting. There is very minor dust inside. Optically it means nothing and I would not advise messing with it - there is no effect in actual use that I can see and cleaning optics like this often does more damage than help.

The post office and UPS are both quoting over $100 to ship this. I will ship for a flat 100 and absorb any additional cost - if it costs less to ship then I will refund the difference. If you choose to pay via paypal please add 3% to cover the fees.

All of my telescopes live in my workshop. The C9.25 had some external dust which I wiped off with a shop rag leaving behind a bit of oil - there are no dings or scratches on the tube - what is seen in the images is reflections from the tube from wiping with a lightly oily rag. The dust on the *outside* of the corrector can be seen as well - this would blow off with canned air.   Note - the f6.3 focal reducer on the OTA is not included.
