For Sale is an amazing Intes Micro MN76 Maksutov-Newtonian OTA.  It is a 7” F/6 wide field scope with precision optics.  As certified by Mike Palermiti as being Strehl Factor of 97.6 and a wave front error (ptv) of 1/8.5 at 555nm.  Central Obstruction is 19% and the amazing multi-coatings.  Killer views of the planets, especially of Jupiter.  My astro friends didn’t want to say it, but my images of Jupiter surpassed their 10” SCT, easily.  Also, it provides stunning low power views of the M42, M8, Orion’s belt and my favorite is M57.  I have seen the faint and elusive G1 in Andromeda with this scope.  It took averted vision, but it was there.  Comes with a 2’ Feather Touch focuser, rings, ADM saddle with increments, Losmandy bar for attachments.  It has the wonderful and how did I ever live without it rollers on the tube to allow rotation of the tube with having to adjust balance.  Also comes with a cool looking Jules Verne-esque right Angle finder but without rings.  I am not sure of the power or diameter, but I would guesstimate a 40mm at 8x.  Comes with fan but I do not have a power cord for it.  It also has dew cap, and a flexible made to order diameter electric dew shield/heater.  Comes with a coffin sized wooden crate for supreme packing and protection.  Two downsides are it does not have the finder rings (as already mentioned) and it has a scratch on the tube that circumnavigates the tube.  A picture of it is shown.  I think the previous owner may have rotated the tube prior and caused this scratch. I do not know for sure.  It is only cosmetic and has a big ZERO effect on image quality.  I will ship FEDEX ground.  Shipping is $75.00 flat CONUS.
