SALE PENDING: 175/ F8 TMB-Excellent Condition

175/ F8 TMB apochromatic scope. Near perfect condition (a few minor paint chips on the black dewcap cover plate). Strehl ratio: .980. Lens has never been touched by anything.

I purchased this scope from Markus Ludes in 2006. He made a special 7.5" O.D. tube for me with an AP 2.7" focuser. It will reach focus with all of my eyepieces and binoviewer. Very lightly used, and I haven't used this scope at all in 10 years. It has always been stored indoors in a conditioned space. Includes a ScopeGuard case that was custom made to suit the dimensions of the scope. Also includes rings, Losmandy plate, a telrad base and a case for the lens cell (plus caps for the lens cell). I have the decals for the scope and will include them, but I never put them on the scope (I prefer it without).  Weight of the scope without diagonal or eyepiece is 36#.

Current price from APM is $18,900 plus taxes and duties, without case or Losmandy plate. Would prefer local pickup, but will ship at buyer's expense.
