Willing to trade for astro gear +/- cash.
Willing to send to AudioScienceReview for pre-purchase measurement as long as all shipping costs covered by buyer.

SF Bay Area.  Will hold for local pickup, but you will need to wait after Covid-19 restrictions lifted.
Will only ship FedEx 2- or 3- day (like Takahashi scopes).

European multi-voltage spec Kenwood L-08c, L-08m pair of monoblocks with European style plugs allowing direct conversion to US plugs.

They are cosmetically ugly, but power supply caps replaced and restored in 2020.

L-08c - ugly cosmetic condition with scratches to paint
L-08m pair - ugly cosmetic condition with scratches to paint, one non-standard foot
2m Sigma Drive cable from L-08c to L-08m included (aftermarket)

Compared to modern flagship gear, the L-08 series doesn't have as quiet of a noise floor (Rated 116 dB) but the damping factor is still unmatched (20,000 at the amplifier terminals and ~15,000 by the time you factor in speaker cable).  This was the last of the premium Kenwood products and only DC high speed amp with Sigma Drive.  In its era, it was priced higher than Accuphase gear.  The amplifier is a very good match with modern digital sources whereas the pre-amp's real strength is its phono stage.

Originally $1800 yen for the pre-amp and $1500 yen for the amplifiers in 1981 dollars.  Adjusting for inflation, that's over $9000 in today's value.  In collectible, mint condition, these fetch stratospheric prices, but given the cosmetics, my asking price is $4000 -- but I am open to astro trades.
