I responded to an ad for a finder scope... seller replied a day later, we agreed on price+ shipping... I sent $$ that day..mailing time should be 2-3 days... I e-mailed seller asking if $$ had arrived yet.. 2 days later he writes that he is living at his new apt now and that he will have to contact his dad to see if the $$ has arrived. Then he goes on to say he will instruct his father how to pack and ship the item... UHG! very frustrating on this end with all that going on..if this indeed protracts out for some duration I do not see 5 *****'s in this gentleman's future...for this transaction. JM

Definitely NOT deserving 5* due to a terrible "lack of communication"... :S

Oh dear. Good luck, John.
I have had two recent transactions where "someone else" did the packaging.
Not a good plan, at all. In one instance, my bino's were bouncing around,
(in a case, at least) inside an oversized box, with no packaging material whatsoever!
That was someone's son. Most likely, someone's dad will work better! wink
