Yesterday I completed an auction with a sale. It is my first sale on Astromart. I haven’t gotten any instructions from Astromart. How do we complete the sale?

Payment, fees, shipping, etc.

We only provide you with a place - we are not involved in your deal

Between buyer and seller -

Thanks - do I owe you anything?

The Genesis I assume?......regardless, normally the buyer would send you the funds by whatever method agreed upon, including shipping/insurance costs (it says buyer pays shipping on the Genesis auction). Once you have received the funds, you pack it up and ship it. UPS does have an online shipping calculator which you can use to get a real close estimate on shipping cost. Alternatively you can contact your local UPS store with size and weight of the parcel and they will tell you how much shipping will be.....I usually pay a little more for them to pack it so in the event of shipping damage (as I also request and pay for insurance) they cant claim it wasnt properly packaged.

Thanks that is very helpful. I have sold on eBay and they take care of everything including their fee. I’m hoping Astromart will work and be less expensive.

I’m still waiting to hear from the buyer. I have sent him a couple messages including shipping costs. Hope he follows through. There were 4 bidders.

Give it a few days....maybe a week, if you have not heard from him reach out to Herb (the admin here) at [email protected]. He will reach out and commune with the wayward buyer. He takes a dim view of auction winners who do not follow thru.....at that point you have a couple options. You can reach out to the next highest bidder, assuming the offer is acceptable or Herb will likely let you relist it for no charge, if there is one....I am not sure on the auctions.
