Is there a way to move a sale to an auction without redoing everything? If so, I can't mark it as sold. Perhaps all I can so is keep the ad and reference the auction sections?

Not that I am aware of.....what you might do is create the auction, then edit the for sale ad to reflect it is now an auction and ad a link to the ad for the auction.....You should however be able to copy and paste info from the for sale ad to the auction when you create it though saving some typing.
