Has anyone ever noticed an item on AM that is not selling, then gets re-submitted at an even higher price? I've seen this a few times now...just doesn't make sense :S

Actually there is a certain sense to it. Many years ago my father was trying to sell the family house, after a couple of years with no success, he raised the price by about one third and it sold soon after.
His thinking was that the people with say $20,000 didn't want it so he needed to find someone else to buy it. He could either see if there were people with $15,000 or people with $30,000 who wanted it.
These days, even with the depressed housing market, I sure it is still worth in the millions.
Raising the price finds you different customers.
