A non-astronomer friend came across a lonely old telescope in an embarrassing position in the back of a dingy antique shop. She sent me one enticing low resolution image that almost made me pass out. The price they’re asking for it made me woozy again. I’m posting the picture here in hopes the Cave experts might confirm it is, and perhaps tell me more about this interesting telescope(s). I will be visiting in a few weeks and hope to be able to look at it in person, and who knows…..
