Docter 40x80/500

Here is a jpeg of my Docter 40X80/500 bino mounted on a Telementor tripod. This bino uses a pair of the famous 12.5mm 90 degree Docter/Zeiss eyepieces.

Hi Joe,

Those are beautiful binoculars - thanks for posting the picture. Wow, I had never heard of 90deg. EP's. These would give you 2.25deg FOV at 40x which is quite amazing. Do they stay sharp to the edges?

Perhaps you could share a little more information about the manufacturer with the forum. Everyone knows about Zeiss quality, but is Docter also German?

hi joe, how is the eye relief, where did
you get yours, the best price I found was
$1925.oo from overseas plus shipping, and
$2400 here in US with tripod, case, and
american warranty, any help would be
appreciated, thanks in advance
