Hello,

I read Markus Ludes appraisal of a number of big binos earlier this year and was wondering if anyone has had any direct experience with the Russian 20x140mm binoculars since.

Markus seemed to give the 20x140mm binoculars high marks but does it give the same yellow images like its bigger brother (30x180mm)?

Also, Markus, do you still have the 20x140s? If so did you ever put it on a fork mount and are there any plans to sell modified versions of this binocular that will allow the user to use interchangeable eyepieces?

Regards,

Eric

Hi Eric

You may wish to contact Bill Burgess at Burgess Optical. I was talking to him the other day and he mentioned having these for $2,995.00 shipped.

Hi Eric,

my 30 x 180 I sold to a guy in Austria Mountains, he used before a older pair of NIKON 20 x 120. After first several nights he reported me, he is ultrahappy and this baby performs much better than he ever expected. The 20 x 140 I still have in stock on a APM custommade Forkmount and yes it have similar yellow day time image as the big brother. To install short focuser for interchangable eyepiece is possible, but a strong job for a finemechanical engeneer and not so easy

best wishes

Markus
