Can a pair of 22mm Panoptic be used with Burgess BV125 Model C without vignetting ?

Thanks

Shay,

First, I consider vignetting to be greatly over rated, especially for binoviewing in astronomy. Your interest is on the object centered in the FOV, not the edges of the FOV.

The answer to your question is no. The 22mm Panoptic has a field stop of 25mm. The clear aperture of a Burgess BV125 is 21mm at best.

Also the 22mm Panoptic is a dual barrel type EP and weighs almost a pound.

The 19mm Panoptic with a field stop of 21.3mm and a weight of 6.6 Oz. is a much better choice for the BV125C.
