First Light Stellarvue BV3s

Well still learning the new-old 8"LX90 LNT ......and decided to try out the new BV3s on Saturn last night for the first time.

WOW! now I know why you can get hooked on binoviewing! Much easier with two eyes.......didnt seem to be any darker image due to "light" being split in half. It actually appeared brighter than a single eyepiece! The views were VERY sharp with the standard 23mm eyepieces that came with the binoviewers. Stars were pinpoint! and Titan was also visible. I am IMPRESSED! smile

LX90 8" LNT, Celestron 80mm-guide scope,
ETX 90, and 20x80 binoculars

Congradulations Joe! Now you're hooked! I've discovered that another great benefit to binos is I can see more detail when the air is a bit unsteady. And who has steady air these days? 8)
