Any suggestions for a good pair of planetary ep's for a Denkmeier standard on a C-11 SCT? I believe that 6mm should bring me about to maximum.

Thank you!

I have had some success with high powered EPs, but the conventional wisdom is 10mm EP are a good high power. I always push things a little more and I have a pair of 9mm HD Orthos that I like. I also have a pair of 4.8mm Naglers but when you get to that power, merging the images can be a bit of a challenge.

I have had pretty good luck with 15m TV Plossls at 2x and 2.8x ( 3.5x was too much) on Saturn this was 200-300x using a 10" f/6 Dob. This was with a WO Bino, not quite as good as the Denk, so I would think you could do as well or better with good skies.
I have a 1x-1.25x-2x-2.8x-3.5x Multi OCA that alows me to make use of many magnification with just three pairs of EPs. 15mm, 20mm, 26mm sets do about anything I can want. The price was tight too. wink

I use pairs of 24panoptics, 20televue plossls and 14 radians in my DenkII...

the 20 plossls seem to be the best of these for saturn...

I just got my awaited 9mm TMB super-monos, I was shocked. Very sharp and white. Eyerelief was very comfortable, even with my wife for eyeglasses. I've used TV plossls, radians, naglers, orthos's, konigs, panoptics. These, for planetary take the cake. If I did not have a driven mount I'd still own a pair for 200X viewing, they're that good.
