Will it come to focus?

I'm considering buying a Burgess Binoviewer with their included 1.9x corrector and was wondering if anyone out there has had experience with this in an f/6 dob. I have a Discovery 10" f/6 PDHQ and a Hardin 8" f/6 and am planning to use this primarily for planetary viewing.

They are advertising that the corrector will allow it to "easily" come to focus in a reflector, but have read some reports that it might not. Does anyone out there have this setup? I just don't want to buy one and I can't get it to focus.

I would appreciate any advice possible.

The binoviewer probably will not come to focus with the 1.9X corrector alone. However, a 1 or 1.5 inch tube with filter threads is probably all it would take to make this work with your DOBs.

There are also correctors out there for $69 or $79 with less magnification that will allow your binoviewer to focus.

My Burgess binoviewer does come to focus with the stock 1.9X in my 8" Orion Atlas, but it is a close thing.
