I will start with a brief statement of the "why" for me..... My preference is solitude rather than observing in groups but I do appreciate that as well. For me observing the majesty of the night sky fills me with a deep appreciation of just how small all our individual and shared problems here on earth are in comparison to the vastness of the universe. I find the daily worries of life seem less consequential in the grand scheme. I find it very relaxing.

Troubles have a way of melting away when I am viewing infinity......
