10" refractor in Gold Mtn Observatory

Finally it clears. After an all nighter in the OB...I stayed up to great the sun..here is a morning image of the scope in the sun.

Looks serene but what's all that blue stuff in the sky. We don't get that around here!

Great looking scope. It dwarfs the observatory.

Nice roll-off Rob,
Is the roof made of fiberglass? Looks translucent.

The scope looks like it's about to leap out of there.

Living in AZ but working in NM has me home for weekends about once a month. Not enough time to do laundry much less finish the observatory.

Here are the 3 spotters on the 12" tube. A 5"f/9, a 60mm f/16, and a 60mm f/5.....
