I just finished my roll off roof observatory--its at a dark site in the foothills an hour west of Boulder CO at 8000ft.
It was a real bear to construct, the roof rolls off easily and all of the electronics are powered by a solar charged array of batteries. Two other pictures follow.

Hi --
Thanks to all for the compliments ! They are much appreciated. The observatory dimensions are 10'x12'3" (the 3" was a screw up smile ). The scope is a C14 on an older Losmandy GM200. Its so nice to just pop open the roof and get down to business !!
