Garage door dome power

Hello,

Has anyone used or seen a garage door opener used for rotating a dome. I have a couple but have not figured out how they can be used to turn the dome.

Replace the drive screw with a friction wheel that rubs on the dome ring. You can track the rotation with an encoder. don't see a problem. If you need more help just post. Magic Man
