Tie down solutions for roll off roof?

I'm very close to completing a roll-off roof observatory in my backyard. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to tie down the roof when I'm done for the night and also how to tie the roof down when it is rolled off? It would be most helpful if people with roll-off roof observatories would chime in with pictures of how they do it. Thanks.

Anjal, I used modified 3" wide rachet tie downs (like the ones used to tie down a boat on a trailer) and large eyebolts. You may have to cut the tie downs to the required lenghts then sew them back together. I had a person with an industrial sewing machine sew the cut pieces together. Hope this helps. Good luck! I can send you pix. Paul

I have about 10 of these on my 24' long roof, works great. Google (TG-431 Latch Type Toggle Clamp) They run about $6.50 each. Hope this helps, Martin
