Hello,
Anyone with some experience with this optical tube?
It is a good planetary performer, and like a wide field telescope?

What mount tipe is good for this optical tube?

Thank you for your response.

Sincerely,

Paul

I had an MN-56 on a Skyview Deluxe last year. Wonderful scope, somewhat marginally mounted. I later had an MN-66 on (briefly) an LXD-75 mount. The go-to feature of the mount was of no use to me as I have too many obstructions in my yard to do an alignment. Sold the mount, then the scope because I no longer owned a mount for it. Wonderful scope, though. Since then I have acquired a G-11, and an MN-76. You see the pattern, here?
Yes, for Planetary, the MN-66 is an enjoyable scope, and at F6, a nice wide field. I would recommend one to you. grin
