AP900 Height of Pier Question

I am getting an AP900 mount. But I am wondering what height pier to get with the tripod. I plan to place a C11 on it. The inside wall height of my observatory is five feet. I need to make sure that the slide off roof will close. I would also like to use with the Kendrick tent.

So what do I tell AP for the height? Any help would be welcomed. I do have their spreadsheet, but I'm looking for a quick and dirty answer.

Thanks...

Hi Vladimir,

I used a C11 on my 900 some years back and think you want something shorter than 48" pier. I used that and frequently needed a stepstool to get to the finderscope or to collimate and I'm 6 feet tall. If you need total height under 5 foot, I think a 3 foot pier would be necessary, although low for standing use.
