Hi,

I just bought a 10 inch reflector and the mirror and secondary mirror were way out of alignment. I collimated it the best I could with the collimation cap.

My question is:

How do I know if the secondary mirror is exactly right. Is it at the proper angle, is it too far up or down, or is it slightly turned? I just don't know.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

John
