Field Curvature

Hi everyone,

I have a question about minimizing field curvature in a fast refractor. I have a SV-TMB 105 that exhibits considerable curvature of field with my favorite 19mm Pan eyepiece. That is, when I get the stars in the center of the field in focus, the stars on the periphery are not in focus.

I understand that using a Barlow will minimize this effect. Is there any other way? I am open to any suggestions about what eyepieces, etc. will minimize this.

Thanks for your input!
