The AT line (72, 80, 102...) is astronomic owned. The same line is sold by S.V. Bony. It's worth comparing. As for what's in stock now, that's a crap shoot. AT, S.V.B., and Orion all seem to have some in-stock items. Anyone sourcing from China seemes to be out for the forseeable future.

I have landed on the Orion ST80 as my grab & go scope. Great for sweeping and open clusters, not so much for DSO objects. I'm a little surprised at how well it does work on appropriate objects but even at 8mm, Saturn & Jupiter are quite small but sharp. Look for a used one with an all metal focuser assembly. Got mine for $100. On a iOpton Cube mount it is literally a one hand operation.
