Hello everybody. There is a user named shelley Minnick from Derby, KS who posted a QSI 683 on September 4, 2016 for $2500.00. I responded to the ad and the email response I got was from a Lizzy Langshaw. When I went to give her $2540 via paypal a name of Taekiya Stanley came up as the paypal recipient. This sent red flags all over the place for me and I don't want anyone else to fall in this trap. BUYER BEWARE of any Shelley Minnick, Lizzy Langshaw, or Taekiya Stanley. When I went to view her user profile, it was gone and so was the add. BE CAREFUL out there my Astromart friends. Don't fall into this trap. Just thought you all should know about these suspicious names.

Cheers,
CRAIG PATTERSON

thanks Craig - I had a similar experience here recently. Remember - even if you use Paypal, you are not protected in Astromart transactions between private parties. Ernie

I've been using paypal for probably a decade.  Paypal will cover you for fraudulent purchases up to $2000.  Why would paypal be different in A-Mart transactions?

Paypal's guarantee doesn't cover 'friends and family' transactions, but that's a different ballgame.

Unless things have changed drastically, paypal will cover someone from a fraudulent purchase up to $2k.

Typically, a major credit card covers for fraud as well.
