EP Problem

PLEASE HELP!!!
A few weeks ago I purchased a 14 mm Explore Scientific 100° EP. Unfortunately, the EP doesn't seem completely compatible with my Orion XT 10 dobsonian scope. I've tried adjusting the primary mirror (to both extremes) and even bought an extension tube. The reason why I bought the extension tube is because sometimes I could get the EP to focus if I pulled it slightly out of the fully racked-out focuser.
Any ideas for what I should try next or try again?

Not sure what you mean by adjusting the primary. AFAIK, the mirror cell is fixed at the end of the OTA -- unless you changed that.

Anyway, if you can find some spot where you get focus -- as you seem to indicate -- then it should work with the extension tube. Not sure why that did not work. You sound like it's just a question of an inch or two from the full racked out position:

>>I could get the EP to focus if I pulled it slightly out of the fully racked-out focuser<<

For sure there is some position in which you will get focus.
