Not sure how much enjoyment the northern hemisphere will get out of this evenings lunar eclipse but here in Sydney, Australia it is looking wonderful!

Since it is taking place early in the evening there are many people out looking at it...great stuff...I better get back to viewing!

Cheers All!

I met a photographer friend at 4:45 a.m. and we set up atop a parking deck in downtown Atlanta. Early on we had some intermittant clouds. But they moved on quickly leaving us with plenty of good picture taking until totality and then the moon set into the haze. grin

I have several telescopes, but none are semi-APO, APO, or in anyway valuable.

Yeah, we had a great view of the eclipse here in New Zealand. The rain stopped a couple of hours before the eclipse started and the clouds disappeared to give an excellent view.
