I've looked at M42 a few times in my 10" dob and it looks wonderful with a 13mm Nagler.
I've never managed to figure out which blob of light is M43.
So, I'm attaching a recent Amart photo (from Jeff B.).
Can someone explain?
Is M43 the blob of light all the way in the left hand side of the frame? Or is it the blob of light closer to M42?
Clears,
Joe
