Hello,
I'm new, to astronomy. Could someone explain what is meant by "1.25" visual back"?

Hi Terry,
A 1.25" visual back is an accessory used to adapt the threads on Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes for use with 1.25" accessory items. This link will take you to a better description and a photo.

There is also a 2" visual back for 2" accessories but I prefer the 2" SCT diagonal which screws directly to the rear cell of the scope.

Cheers,
Mike
