Tuttle Observations?

HI all,

Finally I managed to get out the last 2 nights to look for comet Tuttle. Last night the weather was less than good so observations of the comet were bad at best. Tonight though the skies are pristine and so I got a good glimpse of Tuttle.

As far as detail I couldn't see a whole lot as the comet was already getting a bi lower in the SW. Over all I would say the comet was a bit dim with a moderate amount of brightening towards the core. No color was noted and I couldn't make out any real tail. Over all size would say the comet is a little bigger than M42. Although the size could be due to the comets location in the sky tonight.

Sorry to take some long to finally get a report out but when ever I PLAN to get out, it clouds up. I think you all know what I'm talking about there grin
