Got to see my first bright "fireball" last night from St Pete.
About 9 pm last night looking west saw a 1st mag bolide going from west to north just below the Pleiades.
Only lasted about 4 seconds but it was bright, slow and blue then white in color. Left a dim trail behind that quickly disappear.
Got my 7x50 binoculars out and easily got to see Orion's nebula, Pleiades and a great pairing of Venus and the Moon.
Huge difference from Jersey Skies. Hope to have my scopes setup soon. (Still cleaning from the move)
