So I received a couple of nice examples of falls that I really enjoy. Let me introduce the Chergach Family.

Fell in July 2007 in the Republic of Mali

Papa is 89.6 grams
The two smaller whole individuals are 8.3 and 4.1 grams
The largest slice is 18.3 grams
The medimum slice is 9.0 grams and the end cut impact melt is 6.8 grams. The impact melt is by far the most interesting of the pieces - it is very cool!!

There is a Mama piece on the way at 31 grams.......due next week

I'd like to introduce the Gao-Guenie Family. This group consists of a large end cut on the left at about 149 gr and a small slice next to it. Then my favorities, again three Impact Melt Breccia. There is a wonderful strongly oriented complete 32 gr individual in front on the right. This is a great fall that occurred on March 5, 1960 near Burkino Faso, Africa

And my last picture for the day. This is my Micro-piece of the famous Claxton Fall (yes, a hammer) that crushed a mailbox on December 10, 1984 in Claxton, Georgia, USA. Total know weight of this fall is 1,455 grams, my piece is a whopping 1/4 gram.
