Hi David,

Frank Borman was the one who chose the reading after a suggestion from
Joe Laitin, a friend of one of Borman's friends.

All three astronauts took turns in reading a section as part of their christmas message to Earth.

8O Hey, do you guys realize that Apollo 8 orbited the Moon 40 YEARS AGO!!??!!!! 8O Jeez, I remember it clearly!
