Can anyone tell me what Mission to one of these systems (Planet: Sat or Jup) was suppose to have a probe orbit a certain moon on either of these 2 Planets, decend a 2nd probe to melt with a heated drill through the ice mantel and see if there is an ocean beneath the frozen outer shell? thanks. John,
I think your talking about the moon Europa, that orbits Jupiter. Icy surface, with an ocean of water under it. I would say that it would be very risky as well as costly. And at this moment with government tightening it's belt, on the long list.
I hope this helps.
