My first attempt at Jupiter on Saturday night-8:15 EST. Sketching was done on my homemade 8" F/6 scope at x168 and x250. No filters.

An excellent first sketch of Jupiter! You have recorded many features over the Jovian disk. I am assuming that the large oval feature towards the top right of the drawing is the Great Red Spot (GRS). You have noted detail within both the North and South Equatorial Belts (NEB and SEB). It appears that you have also recorded "ovals" over the North Polar Region (NPR). PLease keep up the excellent work.
