The GRS should be on the meridian at 10 p.m. EST tonight, with Jupiter sufficiently high above the horizon, but the full Moon is going to be nearby, 5-6 degrees away. Will it make it more difficult to see the GRS?
GRS visible under full Moon?

Antonio, Thanks for the update. I may have to take a look at it. I do not think the moon will cause any problems. Got a nice view of Venus this evening around 3:45 CST, after finding it in 7x42 binoculars. It seems the crescent was discernible through the binoculars.
