The weather forcast in the North Texas area was not looking too good so I looked at satellite images of cloud movement and moisture then looked at the CSC pages for my surrounding areas and I decided I needed to make a " dash for tha blue". I got lucky when I ended up at the Hugo Lake State Prk in S.E. Oklahoma where I had clear skies from before first contact until 7pm local when the tops of storms to the west started playing havoc with the seeing. I set up on the east side of the lake so I would be observing over the water to improve the seeing. I was very happy that I made the 100 mile dash to clear sky. Here is a shot at 2nd contact.
