Coopers or Sharpie?

I saw some bird doo fall from the tree in a patio so I took a look and sure enough, this little Hawk was up there looking over my backyard feeders. I shot this photo through a plate glass door with a Olympus C-765 which has a 10x zoom with "ED glass". The purple fringes can be seen, I was shooting about 7x hand held..

Nice find, I'd have to vote for the Sharp-shinned.


There's no substitute for fine glass!

Definately a Sharp Shinned. This is an ideal photo for I.D. The tail has a central notch whereas a Coopers tail is rounded at the end. That is pretty much the difference between the two.
