The anhinga employs the lazy bird's way of feeding its chick. It just allows the chick to stick its head down the throat to the crop, where it finds dinner. You'd think it could at least regurgitate it for the chick.
I apologize for the intervening branch and low res. It was the best I could do under the circumstances.
