If you are into Napoleonic era nautical fiction and you've read C.S. Forester's Hornblower series and Patrick O'brian's Aubrey/Maturin series, you might check out Alexander Kent's Richard Bolitho series. I bought about 2/3 of the books at a thrift store a couple of weeks ago and they are a good read. They are an action-oriented happy medium between the action of C.S. Forester's novels and the more cerebral, atmospheric, novels of Patrick O'brian. They are a fast read. You can sail through 'em...
