I didn't realize they made projectors now -- like the old super 8 but updated now for turning your living room wall into one gigantic screen to play your dvd's.

Check out the bulb replacement costs. Good bulbs are from $200 to $400 and typically last 1000 to 2000 hours. If you only play movies it is not too bad but it becomes cost prohibitive ( for me) if it is used for broadcast/cable.
